To Our Customers...

De Luca’s has always been about community and as we navigate through these difficult times, we have been weighing our responsibility to our many loyal employees and our valued customers. Due to the nature of a few aspects of our business, we have decided to make some event postponements and changes to our restaurants.  Here are a few of the recent changes:

EVENTS: We have postponed all of our public events + cooking classes until April 1st, 2020. Anyone who has registered or purchased tickets will be notified and we will be in touch once we have future dates scheduled.

PORTAGE LOCATION: As of today, we will be temporarily closing our Portage Restaurant until further notice.  We will continue to offer catering services for pickup or delivery and will focus our efforts on grab & go items for customers to pickup. Our Portage retail store will maintain its regular business hours.

SOUTH LANDING LOCATION: Our South Landing cafe and retail store will be open with regular business hours, however we will be making changes to remove the seating in the cafe space and encourage to-go orders.

We would like to extend our gratitude to all of our valued customers for your continued support, and especially to our loyal staff who have continued to work with us during this challenging time.  We are working hard at both locations to keep our shelves stocked and provide our customers with all of their grocery needs. 

As we all continue to monitor the coronavirus (COVID-19) situation very closely, we wanted to reach out and share the actions De Luca’s is taking to keep our stores safe and clean for you, our employees, and the community at large.

Hygiene standards for our people, store environment, and products will always be a top priority. As the situation continues to evolve in Manitoba, we have taken additional actions to ensure our entire organization is here to serve you in the safest way possible. All store employees will be taking enhanced safety measures including regularly disinfecting all high-touch areas, increasing accessibility of hand sanitizers for customers & employees, and ensuring our employees have the information they need to stay healthy or stay at home if they are feeling unwell. 

We are prepared to navigate these challenging circumstances with everyone’s safety in mind.  We are currently maintaining our regular business hours at both locations (with the exception of our Portage Ave Restaurant) and we will continue to monitor the situation and update customers as the situation requires. Thank you for the continuing support and we hope everyone stays healthy and safe.
