Pasta with Vodka Sauce

PASTA WITH VODKA SAUCE

 

 INGREDIENTS:       SERVES   4

 500 g                          Pasta

100 g                           Butter

150 g                           Back bacon – finely chopped

500 ml                          Whipping cream

½ cup                           Vodka

½ cup                           Parmesan cheese - grated

4 tbsp.                          Italian parsley

To taste                        Chili peppers

To taste                        Salt

 

METHOD:

 

Melt the butter in a saucepan, add the bacon and sauté for 4-5 minutes.  Add the vodka and allow to evaporate for 1-2 minutes. Add the cream, season with salt, chili peppers, and ½ the parsley.  Allow to come to a boil, sauce is now ready to use.

 

Cook pasta al dente in salted boiling water, drain and return to pot. Sprinkle with half the parmesan cheese and half the sauce.  Toss well and transfer to a serving bowl or platter.  Top with the rest of the cheese and sauce, sprinkle with the rest of the fresh parsley and serve.

I would like to know if you carry miracle noodles in your store for sale; also if you have any products made with konjac flour?

We do not carry miracle noddles or products with konjac flour however we have a wide variety of spelt, kamut, brown and white rice, and whole grain pastas.

Is this the same pasta that is made upstairs?
